They were taken to a large room located in the back of the place that was illuminated by a number of lanterns and revealed a large battered mattress in the center. I wanted to tell them it wasn'twhat they thought - I still hated black guys just as much as they did, ifnot more - but it would have been more dangerous opening that box ofmadness instead of just accepting the shunning.
