I let my hair grow long, hitchhiked to Vermont to hike and camp during the summer, and began wearing the styles I saw coming from California – bolde... prints, ponchos, the flowing longer dresses, and jeans which would soon become normal even on the east coast. I arrived first in our dorm room in September. We didn’t have any idea who our roommate would be or even which dorm we would be in. We were assigned a room in Pomeroy Hall, The Pom, on the third floor looking out on the quad.My parents. That was no small deal. Thisadventure was paying off big time.The sun broke through the overhanging trees and played over Henry'snaked limbs. It felt delicious. The warmth seemed to give him strengthand drive his headache away. It made him feel very much alive. Thewarmth and the memories of the night before were coming together to givehim some serious morning wood. He idly wondered if any of the girlswere still around.Henry stretched languidly along the moss-covered ground and turned. You reachedtowards the lamp, intending to throw it at your body, only to find yourhand passed right through, doing nothing. You tried again, and growingfrustrated, swung at the lamp. This time it moved ever so slightly, atiny miniscule amount, but just enough for your body to glance over andnotice. A smile came on its lips as it said in your voice:"Ahh, apologies, I can't really hear you like this. Human ears can't hearspirits ordinarily, you see. Look, I'm sorry about this, okay? I justreally. " Do you like Susan?", Peter asked Mom."What do you mean 'like'?", she replied."You know exactly what I mean, would you have liked Susan to get involved the other day? What he she had said something afterwards, what would you have done"."I don't know what I would have done, but I think I would have been happy for something to happen", mom said."Right", said Peter looking directly at Mom, "this is what's going to happen next.
