I said “you are not serious Jim, are you?” He answered “I was never as serious in my life; I hope I did not insult you, did I?” I laughed sayi...g “No, you did not, but… I did not expect such a request” He pulled out some money, placed them in his hand, saying “you can forget that, if you want, but since I did not insult you, I insist on my request, we are just having fun aren’t we?” I have surprised him, and myself, by saying “well, if you insist, you will get what you want, but you have to pay. . the whispers died as the story began to unfold.The scent of the ocean filled the tent and they heard a haunting melody at the very edge of their hearing. As the story grew the breeze flowed through the tent and the sounds grew louder. The fight between the story hero and the evil pirate filled the tent with the clang of swords. There were flashes of lightning and scenes of fire on the deck of a ship.They felt the light spray from the waves and finally watched as the siren changed and walked. “I call Julianne Williams,” Amy stated the name of Sidney’s date from the double date, a rather sweet and geeky librarian.“Call Julianne Williams to the stand,” the Chairman commanded.Julianne looked at Allen with a bit of sympathy as she stared at him from the stand.“Mrs. Williams, what is the nature of your relationship with the respondent?” Amy asked her now.“I ... Though we’ll really, really feel bad about it later, at the time, vengeance is the end all be all of our existence. Strangely enough, this time I don’t feel bad. In fact, I’m pretty sure I’ll be fantasizing about today for the rest of my life. It could have something to do with the fact that I’ll never have the cojones to ever do it again. Or, perhaps it’s because I wreaked.
