I was absolutely giddy and actually giggled out loud. I felt so young again and so wanted and needed. I sat on the plane and it seemed to take forever... Everything seeming to move in slow motion. I was so impatient. I wanted to be with Neil more than anyone else in the world right then. The plane finally arrived at its destination. As I prepared to deplane, I looked in my compact mirror and cussed my face for looking so tired and worn out. I put on some lip-gloss and made sure my hair wasn’t too.
