For a few panic-stricken moments you sit up and stare at your bedroom door expecting them to enter but then you hear them go downstairs. Of course, they will be thirsty and need refreshments. Now is your chance to go and join them; to speak to them; to see your wife. You need some reassurance from her; a kiss; a cuddle, an acknowledgement that she still loves you. But you are scared. It is a bit like disturbing another couple having a clandestine moment; they are a couple in fact, another.
