The poor guy stood there agape as this naked woman came rushing down toward him. Just then I felt a gust of wind blow across the dock and felt the bow...drift further from the dock. It was, of course, the reason for moving quickly, to get the lines secured before the boat had a chance to drift away. It was going to be useless for me to try to just hold the boat once it started moving so I looped the rope around the cleat to stop its movement. Then, I released the line, planted my bare feet. The resort was back in the woods and had a nice swimming pool, whirlpool, picnic area, hiking trails, etc. A number of people lived there year-round in cabins. Many others traveled by RV and camped for weeks at a time. I made several friends the first day I was there. I was in my mid 40’s but most of the folks I visited with were older gentlemen. Since I was “unaccompanied” by a wife/girlfriend, most of the couples and families didn’t really feel they had much in common and didn’t come and chat. I was lost in admiration.From time to time she looked worriedly at me, and I needed to assure her that I understood what was happening, and how much depended on her not just passing her exams but doing well in them, that our sacrifice was worth it – she was worth it.Then it was back to Keele and the final push before exams at the beginning of June. The relaxed weekends were past. She worked every hour she could, and I spent my time each weekend shopping for her, feeding her, and massaging her.
