The warm sun was shining brightly and it was a beautiful day as I pulled into her driveway. There was a small red car in the drive that I hadn't seen ...efore. I pulled around behind the house out by the garage and parked my pickup. I walked to the house and knocked on the back door.The door was open and through the screen door I heard Grandma tell me to come inside. I opened the door and walked into the kitchen. Grandma was standing by the stove making breakfast and I walked to her and kissed. She unhooked the buttons holding her dress and let it slip to the floor, stepping out of it and picking it up to hang behind the door. She then positioned herself forward on the chair, legs slightly apart, and watched the orchestra and choir taking their positions on the stage below her. The next few minutes passed slowly.
