What had really caught his eye was the signage above the door,"spells r us".He walked in the door and was amazed at what he saw, the place was fullof what he considered junk and he couldn't believe that any one wouldeven consider buying any of it. He was just about to leave when a funnylittle man appeared. Casey found it quickly with her gps and parked her Jeep. The area was crawling with locals and tourists. It bordered the beach and many bars. The night life was hopping.Casey went in an elevator up to the third floor. The apartment complex was set up extremely well. The building was built in an L shape around a large pool in the middle of the complex. The front faced the beach and ocean. There were only 5 floors and probably not anymore than 30 units. All the units had entire front. "Go ahead," I urged them. "Enjoy yourself. Just one, though."At this, they took the proffered bottles, sniffed the hoppy brew and sipped a bit. Though they both made a face at the somewhat bitter taste of lager, they did not hand them back. They were teenagers, after all; they wanted to be adults, not kids. KIDS had to go to bed early. KIDS had to do chores. ADULTS could do what they wanted, when they wanted, and that included drinking. Simple psychology.After we were done I put a movie. ”“Yes, that should be fine. I don’t have any other interviews lined up tomorrow morning.”“Okay, good. I’m sorry about the postponement. If you’d like to leave your portfolio, Mr. Hargreaves can look it over and the interview can take less time.”“Okay,” Jessica agreed. She placed her portfolio on the receptionist desk, smiled and bade her goodbye.Heading back to her car, Jessica took stock. Darn it, all that prep and getting dressed up for nothing.
