My wife and I had been married for almost twenty two years, and our marriage has been nothing more than fantastic over that period of time. The past y...ar though things began to change. We seemed to lose that intimacy that we once shared in the bedroom. I know a lot of couples go through ruts like this at one time or another, but this time seemed to be different. Some of our problems had to do with things out of our control, like stress at work and taking care of the family. There never seem to. Becca and the world seemed to be conspiring to never let mewear anything else. When I came back, she looked me over and calledover Razor, "What do you think? Leggings or no?"He looked me up and down and I felt uncomfortable. He smiled and said,"Her daddy died. Leggings," as if that explained it.After we were ready, a woman with a clipboard took us over to the set.I stood close to Mars and tried to avoid the stares of the guy playingmy dad. I vaguely recognised him and assumed he must have been. The team had its own area away from all the adults.This was a big deal from what I had heard. This "Homecoming" breakfast was more for the alumni and parents than the team. It was the school's way of getting money looking back, but at that time all I though was that it was a big farce and that there were better things to do on a Sunday morning.After all had eaten, Coach Bazarak got up to give his annual speech about the season. Our season, as you already know, wasn't the best, but the victory. " George chucked as Kevin leaptup and wrapped his arms around his grandfather's neck in a loving thankyou hug. "I just hope I can trust you in the same tent with a guy." Oh grandpa," chuckled Kevin. "Mike's too young for me. He's just akid." That's good to hear." Grandpa said as Kevin listened to the sounddifference of his wooden shoes on his grandpa two circler rugs andwooden floors. He looked at the trophies on the wall and put his stuffaway in his bed room.He then headed out the back door.
