Chris read it on his way to the aircraft and smiled to himself. On the note, written in pencil, was the name of the woman in question and her seat num...er.On his way to his seat, Chris scanned all the passengers on the plane and found her seating in the business class still working on her laptop.Chris got to work quickly once the plane had taken off. He tapped her name into the program and her image came up straightaway. Chris first made everyone on the plane ignore what he and she would be. Once the potatoes were in the microwave oven, I made a large bowl of salad adding all of Chris’s favorite ingredients. When the salad was finished, I took the two nice T-bone steaks and placed them on the grill. Leaving them to start cooking, I scurried back in the house to set the table. I used the good dishes, crystal goblets, best silverware, and even linen napkins to make the table suitably attractive for the ladies. I even lit two candles to make it seem more luxurious before dashing back. I delayed my own warm-up a bit longer; Scarpia doesn't come in until late in the act and I wanted to be as fresh as possible. But finally, with about fifteen minutes to go before curtain, I had to get into it, I couldn't do it once they'd started. I cut it pretty short, though, just enough to wake the vocal cords up; I didn't want to leave my performance in the dressing room.
