I knew the place: a lot of people worked here during communist time. Now it's one abandoned, sad place where only rats are living. The car stopped in ...ront of the old paint-factory. The driver said nothing, just continued smoking. Suddenly the door went open, a big guy reached out his hand and said: 'Hi, I'm Sergei, welcome to the company'. He was a guy around 40, black, curled hair, wearing expensive – Fendi - glasses-. I shook his hand, got out of the car, but did not know how to behave. Like to the school and to the class, we were new to Delhi as well. Such things played in our favour and we naturally got close. Physical proximity however was a thing of the future.We started to sit together. The final bell used to ring at 1pm and it was a moment of annoyance as was apparent on faces of both of us. Back in those days, we did not have mobile phones so easily. So, once we left school, it just had to be the next day when we could again talk. Soon, we started getting each other. You ask me where we’re going and I just smile and tell you it’s a surprise, I open the car door for you and I get in and we take off, we drive for a good twenty minutes, we pull up to the destination and you give me a confused look but I just smile again and tell you to close your eyes as I led you out of the car and to our real destination. I tell you to take your heels off and step down and your feel your feet land on a soft surface you jump, a little startled, but then I tell you to open. I shouldn't be excited but I couldn't stop myself."Keep looking down and don't look up until I say!" my wife exclaimed. Idid as I was told.
