I'd been shocked to find a video rental place still in existence. I had fond memories of them from childhood, but I'd thought they were long since ext...nct. Family Video, though not what I'd call thriving, was very much still alive. I worked there about fifteen hours per week. I wasn't making big money, but I got to meet some of the locals. Alas, no opportunities for summer romance had arisen. My female co-workers were too young (high-school girls). And our female customers were generally too. "We are almost out of meat father" Kasumi had told him just after breakfast concluded, "Is there none of Nabiki left in the fridge?" he replied stunned, "We will be out of her meat by three days time, im preparing a piece of her rump roast for dinner tonight but there isn’t much left" she said and pointed to the piece of rump on the counter waiting to be heated up."Well then we will have to get more meat" He said looking into the dining room where the rest of the family were sitting letting. Theywere obviously guys, and they wanted to make sure everyone knew it. Imean, really? I know there are some people who feel trapped in the wrongbody and all, but what's with the drag queen? Why didn't they even tryto look normal?"And if looking like freaks wasn't enough, they were the most obnoxious,demanding customers we've had in a while. They loudly complained aboutevery little thing, wanted service immediately and couldn't wait fortheir food. Good Lord! It was awful!"And the worst. He let the server in, she advised him that her name was Arial, and where could she put our dinner. Just as Arial was the setting the table, Judy awoke, with a yawn and a smile, in that order, she noticed that Arial was in the room. From Dave’s vantage point he noticed that Arial did notice Judy and in a big way, especially her innocent attempt at a cover up with the sheet once she walked out of the room to shower. As Dave settled the room service bill, he generously tipped Arial and mentioned.
