The streets were dark at 7:00 and there was a bite in the wind thatmade me wish I had taken a warmer coat and a hat. None of thatmattered. I had to wait for a while but in my mood it didn'tmatter and I ate seafood and drank wine while. The week ended with her parent’s return. Sherry knew she was pregnant with David’s baby. She was on top of the world with that knowledge. The next week would see her with no less than three home pregnancy tests to reassure her. She did pay quite a bit of attention to her father as he would hold and dance with her mother on New Year’s Eve. David’s school resumed, as did her’s.The first week back, she sought out Josh. She had made David go to see him and catch up. David knew why he was doing. Want to dance?” He shouted over the music and reached for her hand. She placed one hand in his and with her other put her glass on the floor next to the column. From her shoulder she peeled the strap of her handbag and placed it on the floor next to the drink. He put his glass next to hers and together they went onto the dance floor. The music was slow, they both moved slowly and watched each other’s moves to titrate their own. The next song was faster and together they picked up.
