See last year we discovered that our localarea really went all out for the kids, with everyone pulling out thestops to put on a show for the kids.So t...at weekend (2 weeks before Halloween) the boys tried on theircostumes, however they both didn't really fit any of their usualcostumes as they had both grown so big over the past year (the youngestone didn't even properly fit his brothers last year vampire costume) soas it was a special night for them both we went to the fancy dress shopto see. I've been able to make a very comfortable living by trading very good pieces. I've never carried a lot of stock, just high class stuff. And I've built up quite a clientele in the surrounding area; people who trust my judgement and know that they can come to me if they are looking for a really special piece. I'm also lucky enough to have a couple of very good assistants. Beth has become quite knowledgeable on porcelain and furniture and Karen is a real expert on coins and antique jewellery..
