Charlotte had surprised me by saying that she looked forward to see me again when I called her from the hotel after breakfast that morning. After arri...ing at the airport I had to spend a couple of hours on an express train before arriving at home. I called Charlotte, who said she missed me like hell.Now it was time to be conscience-stricken about my doings at the far north, but I had excuses that limited the worst remorse. As I enter the house I don’t’ see the repairman or my wife in the kitchen however the refrigerator door is open and it is disassembled with parts strewn about as well as tools.I assume that Wayne the repair guy is out at his truck and I go back to our master bedroom to change clothes.
