He told her he had invited some of the guys from work over to help her celebrate her birthday, and while she wasn't real thrilled with everyone knowin... she was forty now, she did like the guys he told her were coming. I remember him staring at me like i was the only one at the bus stop with him and i started feeling more and more uneasy. luckily at this point the bus arrived and we started to clamber on i showed the driver my pass and made my way onto the upper deck (it thought this was a good idea as i didn't think the older man would take the stairs) however the upper deck was full so i made my way downstairs and shock horror this was full also so i had to stand toward the back until a seat came.
