We were using the large patio for the first time since the summer between our freshman and sophomore years. Since then, we had never needed such a lar...e outside seating area and usually stayed on the smaller tables and chairs on the balcony during the summer months. Now we needed that larger space between the grill and the hot tub.“Well, they are certainly tasty,” Janet said as I began loading more ribs on the platter she was holding for me.“I’m glad you like them. How are Jordan and Jyl. They will most likely find a reason to demote him or get rid of him if they found out." Does Jack know?" I asked."Hell no," Tammy replied loudly. "If he knew he would tell Neil, just so that he could take Samuel's place." That would be a Jack thing to do," I nodded."You going to text her?" Tammy asked."I don't know," I said as I thumbed the paper."You should," Tammy replied. "I would like you to if that makes it easier." You two are good friends huh?" I asked."Most definitely," Tammy replied.. Spotting some girl walking along the road I had parked on, I caught up with her and asked her if there was any possible way she could point me in the direction of the nearest hotel. Staring at me with her glistening smile she said it was a little after closing time for most hotels around here. Walking back to the car I politely thank her for her time but just as I was pulling away I asked her if she needed a lift, seeing as it was a frosty night out and she was only wearing a tight see-through. When the kitchen was cleaned up and the dishwasher was turned on, mom and I went out to the living room and sat down where Sandy and I usually sit, anytime we all sit as a family watching the television, if there is a good movie on to watch, otherwise we may sit and play some board game, or maybe even a card game.Tonight mom sat next to me and leaned over on me like she usually did with dad, but tonight Sandy is leaning against dad like mom usually is doing, and I could see dad had his arm.
