Raj and Nina didn’t have a clue on what was going on. The truck driver continued talking “Ask this kid why he came to my house and what he was doi...g with my daughter when no one was home?”Raj looked at Rohan and Rohan kept looking at the ground. Raj looked around and he saw the truck driver’s daughter. He knew her. The girl is around 16 and she was known for trapping young boys and then later on black mailing them for money. Raj had warned Rohan once when he saw Rohan talking to her.Raj: “I. " Then she hustled us on the bus, where there were already several other girls. I took my seat next to a nervous-looking brunette who was only about 20. The cropped blonde stood at the front and said, "It should only be about a 20 minute ride from here. When we get there, the director will inspect you, and then orientation will begin." She sat down in the first seat and we took off.Based on the looks on the other girls' faces, I figured I might be the only volunteer attendee. A volunteer was. "Wait a minute! It can probably tell us even without the satellite link. Cindy, all we need to do is mark when the sun goes down." Jim smiled when he saw they probably had a half hour of sunlight left. They chatted until the last of the sunlight left the top of the northern sound barrier, and marked the time as 8:19 PM. Jim typed for several minutes on the Mercedes display, and then looked up and whispered, "Damn..." There was a very worried scowl on his face.Cindy was standing by his side. Neil nods sagely but doesn’t speak. The evening wears on with more silly conversations and laughter which help me forget my financial woes. Finally the bell rings for last orders, bet we decline and grab our coats. As always, Neil asks if anyone would like a lift home, and it’s an offer which I gratefully accept. When I’m the last passenger left in the car he asks me again about our earlier conversation and money being tight. I joke that if things get much worse I might have to start selling.
