North of Salt Lake we picked up I-80 and planned to follow it past Chicago. We kept going to get as much milage as we could out of the way until final...y about ten thirty we pulled into a small motel off the highway and got a room for the night.We were both tired from the long day but found we weren't too tired for a little more loving activity, although this time it didn't go on quite as long as usual. I don't think either of us even moved during the night and I awoke spooned against Matt in. Which was weird since she never asked me before what time I would be home, and she knew I normally was home by 6. As luck would have it I had a dentist appointment at 1:00 that day and was planning on working from home in the afternoon. Fortunately, I never told Jane I was coming home early. Now normally, my wife and mother in -law who worked together, left work at the same time around 5:00. On this day Jane decided to leave work at 2:00 and told my wife she had to run a few errands. Little did. The thought never crossed my mind. Instead, the most prevalent emotion I was feeling was acceptance. Acceptance about what I had done. And that the victim had deserved it!After all, the system had said I was an Avenger. I only got my due revenge. My due justice. There was a hollow voice behind my head that suggested that I was only believing what the system had said because it served my purpose and cleared my conscience, giving me some semblance of innocence. I pushed that thought to the depths. Jay was parked in front of Anthony's house. I received a call on my cell phone and it was Jay, i picked up and said "hello", Jay said " you got three minutes to come out and get into this car or I'm shooting every motha fucka in that house", Anthony said " man this nigga got me fucked up, don't no nigga come to my house and call shots i got this nigga bruh for real" I said " look Anthony its cool bruh i mean if you guys start shooting someone is liable to get hurt, first off i don't want that.
