People have lost faith in the democratic process as it's become about greed rather than service. It is my opinion that positions of power such as POTU..., a seat in Congress, etc - need to be low-paying jobs as in close to minimum wage. In other words, jobs nobody wants to do. It would mean service to your country for a term or two and then back to the private sector. These should not be positions people want to hold on to.
