Stacey and Greg had just finishe... grade 11 and were looking forward to a relaxing summer before starting grade 12. They had known each other their entire lives, and, until the last few years, had been best of friends. They were still close, but over time had begun to drift slowly apart as their interests, and friends, took them in different directions. It hadn't always been that. But once we were inside a glass elevator took us to a vast subterranean chamber carved out of the basalt rock. A glassed-in viewing stand stood, four stories high, along one cavern wall. Massive steel doors were carved into the opposite side, each marked with the Great Seal of the United States-- the pyramid with a glowing eye. The floor, big enough to play Major League Baseball on, was mostly bare cement-- save for one area covered with red shag carpet and a wide variety of pink and purple. He looked at me and smiled before he took my hand again. After a while we got home, grandma and grandpa were going to be leaving early in the morning so we had to get home, plus grandma was insisting that we start plan our big party. My daddy walked in behind me while grandma and grandpa went to the guest house, so it was just me and daddy that went in his house. And when we got to the kitchen, he hugged me from behind and started to kiss my neck and I felt his hand slide across my little. "So when are you moving out then?" Marie asked as she sat on the bed with April and Lee in his room."Well we've got to get some jobs first, and then find somewhere we can rent" April said to her mother. It had been a few hours since April and Lee had told the others and Marie had asked to see them alone to talk things over."That won't be too hard, I've got some money in the bank from when your farther died and I want you to use it to get somewhere to live" Marie said, that shocked Lee and April.
