We finished dinner and i sent Kaylee to clean her room and get ready for bed. i cleaned up and watched some tv for a bit, then headed upstairs to see how Kaylee was doing. She was sitting on her bed in red footie pajamas reading a book, i told her it was time for bed, i tucked her in and wished her sweat dreams. I shut the lights off and headed back down stairs to go to bed my self. Just as i was starting to doze off i herd my name from the top of the stairs "ADAM" I went to the stairs and. 'Perfect!', I thought, everything was fallinginto place. "OK, hon. I'll be along in a little," I said,smiling at Larry. He quietly mouthed the words 'I will too!' aftershe had passed him, heading towards the bedroom. After Sandy had gone to bed, Larry and I satthere staring blankly at the TV, neither of us saying aword. The air was filled with expectation. About 10o'clock, I heard Joe drive up into the driveway. I gotup to let him in before he rang the doorbell. I reallydidn't think it. I was just going to find Mum, when the door bell rang. "I'll get it," I called out.I opened the door to find Tish standing there. She was dressed in a mish-mash of assorted colours and styles, with nothing at all matching or even going together. She had a habit of just grabbing whatever was on top of the pile of clean clothes and throwing it on regardless. She seemed to have got used to dressing in girl clothes. but she still had trouble dressing like a girl. Maybe she needed some more helpful.
