The one place where Hazel has always had an advantage over Lily is the soccer field. Although Lily is an excellent player and clearly the second best ...n the team, Hazel has widely been considered the best girls' soccer player to come out of Oregon since Tiffeny Millbrett. This fact annoyed the intensely competitive Lily to no end, although she did have the team captaincy to hold over Hazel. For her part, Hazel was very humble towards Lily and made sure to never flaunt the one advantage she held. The motto of the major is "Pretty girls can look good in anything, butif you can make a boy look pretty then you have done something special."Each boy would have to sit and have their eyes done, or their lips doneor cheeks. Sometimes the boys hair would have to be trimmed or styled.Highlighting and coloring a boys hair was also done. For the fashionclass, girls would select pretty outfits and the boys would have to putit on and model them.But the boys service wasn't just getting decorated. He could almost feel her fear as he revved up the engine and turned around for home. When he turned off onto the trail, he heard her say something, but couldn’t make it out over the engine and the wind.“You’ll have to speak up. Couldn’t hear you,” he shouted.“You live back here?”“It’s not too far. Keep that hood up and lean toward me to keep the wind out of your face.”When they arrived, he once again left the quad idling, and offered a hand to help her climb down. The look on her face spoke. I think some one down there is pleased to see me.”The woman then whispered into the man’s ear, “I think you might need some help relieving that thing and I might just be volunteering for the job. We can do it right here, if you like, or we can go outside or we can go to one of the dorm rooms.”The man looked at the naked woman next to him ... a lady he had seen in church many times but hadn’t spoken to all that often.
