There was a bar with an old man behind it. Behind him was a fridge, a household gas stove and a kitchen sink. The bar sat about 6 people and the stools at the far end were already occupied by an Asian couple enjoying a beer and some delicious looking noodles. Lindsay sat me down at the only table in the room while she. ’ She looked up at me and I could tell from the question on her face that she was wondering what I meant by that. ‘Hello Mr. Moore. Welcome back. We have your table all set up for you.’ The Hostess greeted me and my date as we walked over to the best table in the house. The waitress handed us out menus, took our drink orders, and left. ‘Please order whatever you want Colette.’ ‘Are you sure?’ ‘Yes I am.
