I take a long smooth drag on it, the tip glows orange as the earthy smell mingles with in my nose with hers. Holding the smoke, I walk to my bed, noti...ing how her eyes look me up and down. I sit on the bed and lean into her, whisper in her ear, “exhale”. She does. Anticipating me, she turns her head up to me, our lips draw together and I begin to exhale a stream of smoke into her mouth as she pulls it in from me. The smoke spins me into a more sensual space where the I become more interested in. I kept my hand on her shoulder as she stepped away and let it slip off and I trailed a finger down her back until my hand came back to my side. “Too soon for that kind of thing?” I asked her in an apologetic tone. She turned to look at me and blushed. “Yeah, just a little. I like you, but I hardly know you.” “You’re coming to the party with me.” “Well yeah, but…Stephen I’m sorry if I misled you, but we’re just hanging out. That doesn’t mean we’re going to…I mean if I thought this obligated me. “You’ve excelled yourself, Charles!” she said enthusiastically. “This could mean an exponential increase in our fleets’ capabilities! Just let me know when he’ll be arriving and I’ll arrange a meeting with John so that I can oversee the technology trade.”Charles gave her a coy smile. “I’d love to be able to do that, Lynette, but John said he’ll only deal with me. Don’t worry, I’m more than happy to broker the trade myself.”Lynette’s eyes narrowed as she studied the Vice-Admiral. “Is that right?. Brownstone. I don’t know that I’d have done anything about it. I’d crushed on older, more established actors before now—talent can be pretty sexy all by itself—but I’d never thought seriously about seducing any of them. Maybe it was the role.
