Rick and Sharon walked with Jerry and Mary Ann to their ship and said good night at their cabin doors. The next morning at five Rick and Sharon were up and taking a shower together. Sharon put on her new uniform and walked to Sea Sprite.Sharon was in the galley before Pat and Clancy. She had already made. Surprisingly, I lookedfine; not only fine, I thought, but better than before. I turned my faceside to side, stunned that I looked even prettier than I had thismorning. My lips were puffier, and my mouth seemed smaller. My noseseemed smaller, too. "How odd," I thought. This morning, I thought itwas just this makeup that had me looking so feminine, now I wondered ifthe treatment was actually changing my face. Is that even possible?" Iwondered. I splashed some water on my face, smiling at. "Ruth was really good at the 'be everybody's friend' thing social operatives specialize in. James hardly said a word. "I'm so sorry, but I already have plans." I didn't tell her that my plans were a dollar salad from the McDonald's at the mall, and a cardboard frozen pizza hot from the microwave. Washed down with a vintage Sam's cola. It was my tribute to the old days meal. I didn't mind the bad food and it reminded me who I was. Something I had needed for the last year or so. It's easy to get. I really loved eating Nancy's creampie. I loved the smell, the taste, and the downright nastiness of it. I really was getting hooked on it. I also wondered how much the neighbors had seen and heard.After several minutes, I quietly went back into our room. Nancy was awake. We decided to take a walk, and have a drink in one of the local bars.Later that evening, back at our room, we started to fool around again.
