And then over a low murmur, I heard a loud a blast of squeals and giggles followed quickly by shushes. I heard later that earlier they had been read the riot act for the noise level.I stepped on a twig and the tent got silent. “Did you hear that?!” one of them whispered. I decided to make a little bit more noise by shuffling my feet in the yard as I got closer and circled the tent. It was hilarious to hear the tension building in the tent. I. Lost in my thoughts, I almost missed the strange sounds coming from the side of the room occupied by Devin. I looked over to see him on all fours, coughing, almost vomiting, and making a sound sounding something like a mix between a groan of pain and a growl, breathing hard as his body heaved. He’s going to hate me for lying to him…I thought. I told him what I was told. It doesn’t hurt. Which it doesn’t, at least as much as it would if you were expecing the pain, and especially if you were.
