The boys strode purposefully down the corridor, Alex struggled to keep up. They reached his office and Jed peeked in. His secretary wasn’t there an... his office was deserted. “Come let’s go in!” said Jed. They quietly slipped in. The office was very large, a long table and chairs at the far side with places set with paper, pencils and water. Thomas and Jed scrutinized the desk for any items of interest. Thomas stuffed a few pencils into his pocket, helped himself to a glass of water and drank. Thirty minutes later he entered the living room and poured out a drink for himself, taking it to the settee and sat down. He took a sip, then rubbed his eyes, tired from the long flight.Sharon found him sleeping in the settee. He hadn’t even finished his drink she noticed. She smiled and unfastened his tie and shoes. Removing them, she lifted his legs and swung him around to lay along the settee. He murmured something in his sleep, but she could tell by his rhythmic breathing he was fast. Previously, she couldn’t see anything but blackness, and the occasional swirls of colors from her eyes. Now, it seemed like everything was glowing slightly blue. Over time, the blue hue got brighter, and Myre could make out the shape of her hand in front of her face.
