The first thing you saw when you looked at her beautiful face were those emerald-green eyes, just staring out from...her lovely head.Jan really admired Jo and how she had worked herself from absolutely nothing to the position she was in today. She wasn't a star, by Hollywood standards, but she definitely was successful and had come a long way from Minnesota and her fatherless home."Jan!" a voice called from upstairs. When was that taken?”Pam replied, “It was taken by Jack at Ocean City, MD last summer.” (Jack was her lover and dom for the three years just before we met in 1989.)I said, “I would like to take some photos of you in that bikini.”She said, “I don’t have it anymore!”“What happened to it?”“When I was at Club Med with Beth last October, I traded it for that. Nobody is going to hurt you anymore,’ she had stated. Her gentle words had convinced him she was not a monster, but a hallucination could still have been possible. She’d kept her voice comforting as he’d told her about the seeker swarms, the freezing colonists, and the monsters. He had pushed his findings from his omnitool to hers, and she’d thanked him kindly. The other human, the mean one he decided later, had wanted him to go with them. Veetor could not recall why that had been bad, only. We were going to have a good-sized crowd at the reception. Most of the club officers and senior members had been invited, given the caveat in the invitation to please keep it to themselves because there wasn't room in the hall for the entire membership.Since I had been on the board forever, I knew most everyone that would be on the list.
