There was great excitement in the house since John was getting married. Bill and I had to take care of ourselves as his mother was constantly doing s...mething for the wedding.It was hot and there was no air conditioning. Bill's mom and dad slept downstairs when it was this hot. We went to the basement. It was cooler there.The stairs were just off the garage, far from the main floor bedroom.
