She fitted her key into the lock and led us inside, and without direction I set my messenger bag on the floor next to her conference table and took a seat there. Meanwhile, she set her own bag down and slid into her desk chair, rotating it to face me."So I understand that you visited Kim the Saturday before last," she began without preamble."Uh, yeah," I replied."Yet you have not come speak with me?"I blinked in surprise and sat up a little straighter. "Well, it's kind of a moot point because. So, Anil’s dad convinced Anil and Malini to continue with their trip. They shouldn’t throw away such a long-awaited trip. Malini and Anil reluctantly agreed to go. The third flight ticket was reimbursed. When Malini and Anil arrived in Goa, they took the booked cab to their hotel. At the hotel, Malini found that her husband had booked two rooms. One room was for the couple (Malini and her husband), and the other one was for Anil.As there were only two of them now, Malini canceled Anil’s room.. Sis rolls her eyes and says, “oh there is a shocker!” and we all move out to the kitchen. I look at the clock and it is now near midnight and I ask Sis and Mandy, “you two have to go into work again today?’ They both nod yes with a look of disgust on their faces. “ok then ladies, you all can sleep in the bed tonight without this big lug taking up all the space. I will just crash on the couch you all need some sleep and so do I!” I smile at them. They all look at each and say, “ok” so we clean.
