Neither of us spoke as we took our customary lap past the nurses' station to the visitor lounge.Once there, however, he gave me a serious look. "Have you finished Walden yet? Don't you have a test next week?" 'I lay down the book and go to. Angela reached out and rubbed my bulge and said flirtatiously, “Hmmm Rob, looks like we may be having some more fun tonight.” Later we were walking through the mall holding hands and Angela ran into one of her close friends from school, Lisa. She called out and Lisa turned around. This girl had long dark brown hair cut in a silky blunt cut past her shoulders. I would say she was about 5’ 6” with light caramel tanned skin and huge round hazel eyes and long eyelashes. Lisa had a heart shaped face. The clouds can't even seem to stand up to it, because they're ghostly - unreal - their dark bottoms devoured by that steely background.I've got a nice view of it, not that I want it. The narrow rock shelf I'm lying on doesn't give me much else to look at, other than the crumbled remains of the significantly narrower bike trail above.I suppose I'm better off than my bike. It's somewhere down there. I might be able to see it, if I could move. Things are broken, that's for sure. I can't even. She loved Christmas but the last few had been fragmented with argumentsbetween April Sandy and me, with Sue off travelling and me being off atschool so this gathering made her so happy. The house looked amazing,her and Fred and I guess Bev had the place looking spectacular, a hugetree and lights, god so many lights. When I looked under the tree it waspiled with gifts.Our savior had been waiting for flights, while we were stuck in Bostonwe raided the stores so at least we didn't come empty.
