She went down to her folks' place in Taos two days before I did, because I had a job site about to close and had to be there for the final inspections... Rain washed out our inspection date so I rescheduled and headed for Taos without calling ahead. I figured it would be a surprise to her that I was there earlier than expected. I got there around one in the morning, and let myself in. I had been there often enough I knew my way around the house. I went to her room to find she wasn't there. There. She had moved out and was living with a couple of roommates near her job. Dave, our son, had joined the military and was currently stationed in Tampa.Anyway, we had rented this awesome place in Punta Banda. The house was down this dirt road just off the beach and had this incredible view of city of Ensenada across the bay. It was high up on a hill and had floor to ceiling windows in the 3 rooms, all facing the water. Our host, Maria, lived right next door in her house. She had built this house. ?WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING!? Anna was stunned into silence and before she could react further George was by her side his angry face filling her view. ?Now you listen to me young lady,? he said softly, but his voice dripped with menace. ?You agreed to pose for us and to do exactly as you were told.? He paused, his eyes glittering cruelly as a nasty smile creased his lips. ?So I suggest you make more of an effort to abide by our little agreement. He thought about it for a second, trying to visualize what was on the other side of the wall, when it hit him, it was the women’s shower room!!! A little guiltily, he dropped to his knees and peered into the small opening to see if he could make anything out! If he held his eye just at the right angle, he could see the lower part of adjoining room, but because these walls were cement block, he had about nine inches of brick to look through, which really limited what you could see!!! Not wanting.
