After my first 2 PE lessons where I was clearly rubbish but I was not laughed at or shouted at ( I was used to that) but the PE coach took me aside an... said he would discuss me doing voluntary work as I appeared perfect for that. He told me the head would probably see me at the weekend to discuss it as most of the school would be away playing rugby. I was happy as I hated sport and was a disappointment to my rugged sports mad father. I had heard him tell my mum he thought I was a poof (. “Okay…” I said, not knowing what to say next. “Can I talk to your sister about it though, I mean, I don’t know if she’d be okay with it or…” “She will be”, he said, “I know she will be”. “How do you know that?” I asked, “Has she said she’d be okay with it?” “Yep”, he replied. “So she said that over breakfast too?” I asked, seriously thinking the whole thing might be a joke. “Sure”, he said, “So you’ll come over tonight, ready for everything?” “Um…yeah…I guess” I said. “See you tonight then”, he. Everyone I've talked toremembers Carla Henderson being elected student body president.
