On the way there, I stopped by a convenience store and picked up a pack of cigarettes. I hadn’t smoked in over 5 years, but right then, I didn’t c...re. I needed the nicotine rush. The waitress showed me to a table towards the back of the smoking section. As I sat and split my attention between studying the menu and studying the Saturday crowd, I busted the cigarette pack open and pull one paper coffin nail free. Placing it on my lips, I lit a match from the book I snagged at the convenience. Swing my legs out and stood next to the car, no one about as far as i could see. I walked over to the wood and as i expected the bench was empty, I sat down and looked at my watch - couple mins to go. Bang on time i see a car go past and slow as it passes the entrance to the park, i feel eyes on me, then the car pulls off and i hear it park further down the road.
